{Education}
After completing my apprenticeship as an export merchant I successfully studied air and space technology focused on propulsion devices at the university in Aachen achieving an engineering degree. To substantiate my knowledge of quality management acquired in practice I successfully passed the courses for the Certified Quality Management Technician and Quality Systems Manager at DGQ (German Society of Quality) and aquired the Auditor Qualification at LRQA (Lloyd's Register). Further training and certification in the quality management area is planned.

{SAP Qualification}
The SAP module I am most experienced in is the quality management (QM) which I consult for more than ten years now. In this time I have introduced the QM with almost all functions in many different branches. This projects where "full-cycle" implementations as well as updates with return to standard processes and process optimizations including the according software adjustments and tools. The implementation strategy used varied from the traditional model to the prototype-roll out-method.
I completed the SAP training for the new functions Audit Management and cProjects and are waiting for a chance to use this fresh knowledge in projects.
A second module I have serious experience in is the material management (MM) with the focus on inventory management (IM). I have completed several projects in this subject including batch management and handling unit management (HUM). In addition I have some knowledge in warehouse management (WM) and the integration of automated warehouses.
In some projects I gladly supported the PP / PP-PI team by taking over single subjects and finished them with the team.
The test equipment management of the QM is integrated in the plant maintenance (PM) of the SAP. Therefore I would be able to support a team in the area.
Using the SAP document management (DMS) to support the processes in the quality management always creates a big benefit. Therefore I have introduced the DMS at many customers during QM implementations. Since the use of a preconfigured DMS by other modules is no big effort, I was able to offer the functionality to other teams like PP, MM and EHS.
Classification is another tool from the PDM / EDM area which creates benefit with low effort. Therefore I introduced classification functions for the use in QM processes and took on the role of a contact person for this functionality in projects. In addition I consulted smaller projects in the EDM area like building classifying structures and classify material masters with technical values for R&D.
Due to the integrative character of the quality management module, the cooperation with different project teams and regular training courses at SAP I have achieved a very good overview of the structures and functions of the SAP system, especially the logistic area.

{Leadership Function}
Performing the role of the team lead was always my task during the consulting projects I have attended. The involved techniques and tools are therefore familiar to me. Up to now the task of the sole project manager was successfully performed by me in small and medium sized projects up to a limit of about 500 T€ and 25 team members.

My native language is German. In addition I had a good formal education in English and during the last years where mainly engaged in international projects using English as project language.
